Journey · for prospective clients

From a conversation to a running application.

We agree what your business needs, then assemble a proven core to that shape. The platform already exists and already runs in production, so the effort goes into the parts that are genuinely about you.

Step 1

We talk

A discovery conversation maps how your business works: what you sell, who you serve, what you charge for, and where the current setup hurts.

2
Step 2

Your brief

What you need becomes a short, checkable brief covering which capabilities are switched on and exactly where your business differs from the norm. You read it and correct it before anything is built.

3
Step 3

It's assembled

The brief drives the build. Your application is generated from the shared core with your capabilities and your models already in place.

4
Step 4

It stands up

Your app runs on infrastructure you control, with its own database, using the same tested deployment recipe every Pure Stack project gets.

5
Step 5

We fit it to you

Your content, your data, your look, and the parts that are genuinely specific to your business. This varies most between projects, and it's where the time goes.

6
Step 6

You're live

Your website, CRM and billing go live together, already joined up. You hold the infrastructure and the credentials from day one.

Your brief, in plain terms

The same short list of choices decides what your app is made of.

Capabilities are switched on per deployment. A brief for a business like yours might read something like this.

Capability Setting State
Take card payments payments True
Invoices synced to your accounting xero True
Recurring plans & subscriptions billing True
Email marketing from your contacts marketing True
Blog & events blog True
Member sign-ups & access registrations True
Online store store Off: add later
Bookings bookings Off: add later

Anything switched off can be switched on later without starting over.

Being straight about the timeline

Where the time goes, and where it doesn't.

Building a business platform from scratch means inventing the website engine, the customer database, payments, permissions, the accounting sync and the recipe for deploying and running the whole thing safely. That is the part that historically costs a fortune and takes months, and it's the part you're not paying to invent. It already exists, and it's already running our own business.

What still takes real time is the work that's about you: the discovery conversation, getting your content and existing data across, the places where your business departs from the default, your branding, and testing it properly before anyone relies on it. How long that takes depends on how much you're bringing and how far you sit from the defaults, so we scope it with you rather than putting a number on a web page.

What you can hold us to is the shape of the engagement. You see the brief before the build. The platform underneath is already proven in production. And you'll know what you own and what you license before you sign anything.

Speed here comes from starting on proven ground. The parts that are specific to your business still get the time they need.

What we'll need from you

The words, images and pages you want on the site. We can help, since content editing is something we do, but it's the most common thing to hold a launch up.

Contacts, customers, past invoices, whatever you're bringing across. Migration is scoped in discovery, and how clean the source is makes a large difference.

Someone who can settle questions about how your business works: what counts as a lead, what a subscription includes, who's allowed to see what.

Your payment provider, your accounting system, your email sending domain. Straightforward, but they need to exist and be in your name.

Start with the conversation.

An hour talking about how your business runs, and you get the brief either way.
